The trixbox CE distribution is Asterisk-based and has a package manager that can be used after registration on the trixbox website. One of these packages is HUD (Heads-Up Display) server. After installing HUD server you can install HUD lite on your PC and see who is available and who is not. You can also chat with every available extension connected to your PBX.
